She was predeceased by : her parents, Estin Riley and Kathryn Riley (Fromm) of Brunswick, MO.. She is survived by : her sister Toni Heishman (Rodger) of Jacksonville, OR; her aunt Patricia Meyer of Brunswick, MO; her uncles, Donald Fromm (Patsy) of Camdenton, MO and Robert Fromm (Sue) of Kerrville, TX.; her friend Carol Beaton; and her sister Beaton.

She would always be the first on stage at fundraising events, and Millington remembers Trudy having a natural talent for seamlessly combining soliciting donations and acting during impromptu plays.

“Trudy used to call NAMI MO every day. She would talk about the books she is reading, doing yoga and gardening, She was proud of her sister. She also spoke of a high school friend who lived in MO. I wondered why I hadn't heard from her. RIP, Trudy! Nicole”
