He was predeceased by: his former wife Eleanor Lynne Davis; his parents, Charles P. Davis and Alva Elizabeth Davis; his brothers, Charles A. Davis and Hugh "Smokey" Davis; and his grandson Nathan Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Richard S. Davis (Madonna) and Janet E. Beckler (Bryan); and his wife Joyce Davis. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and twenty‑two great‑grandchildren.
