She was predeceased by: her parents, Dirk Zuidervaart and Janna Zuidervaart (Evegroen); her husband Jake Van Duyn; her daughter Leanne Bartels; her grandson Cody Hardman; her son-in-law Scott Hardman; and her siblings, Corrie Medina, Bill Zuidervaart and Dick Zuidervaart.
She is survived by: her children, Jana Honermann (Dale), Tom Van Duyn (Denae), Sue Van Duyn (Roger Ramirez) and Genise Hardman; her grandchildren, Alyson Van Groningen (Michael), Adam Bartels, Kristina Creel (Justin), Phillip Van Duyn (Ashlee), Morgan Van Duyn, Bryce Ramirez, Dustin Ramirez, Andrea Bartels and Aaron Bartels; her siblings, Betty Willemsen, Ewouda Bouma, John Zuidervaart (Marsha), Cornie Zuidervaart (Phyllis), Jennie Attema and Martin Zuidervaart; and her siblings-in-law, George Medina and Gert Verver.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel (1111 Palm Ave, Ripon, CA 95366).
