It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugenia C. Ferrel (Riverbank, California), born in Berino, New Mexico, who passed away on January 22, 2026, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Eugenia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Eugenia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Cadena and Manuela Cadena; her husband Valentin C. Ferrel; her sons, Valentin Jr. and David; and her grandson Michael Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, Jimmie Ferrel of Salinas and Mike Ferrel (Elvia) of Modesto. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
