He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Renteria and Jovita Renteria (Salas). He is survived by: his wife Elvira; and his son Christopher.

A rosary will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Akes Family Funeral Home (9695 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92503-3645). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church (3680 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA 92506). A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Riverside National Cemetery (22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518).
