It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darius Riley Riverside, California), who passed away on June 28, 2020, at the age of 39, A son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, husband and step father. Darius Lynnell Riley was born in Los Angeles Ca on Jan.3, 1981 to Samuel L Riley and Sandra Reed. Darius spent his childhood in Los Angeles with his cousins and aunts and moved to Riverside Ca around the age of 12Yrs old.
When Darius got to Riverside Ca he was baptized Christian in the name of Jesus Christ. He ventured out to gain his own understanding of life always having a thirst of life and knowledge. He was a very goofy and entertaining man that always had a joke to tell Someone .Any body who knew him knew he was a a very handy, outgoing, character full of laughs, and love for his family and friends.
He was the biggest prankster. Darius biggest passion was sports, he was the biggest Chiefs and Lakers fan and loved his Undisputed and First Take every morning it was always a go to news show Mon-Fri.. Darius was Over whelmed for months when the Kanas City Chiefs won the Super bowl in 2020.
And was very sad and bored when Covid 19 canceled all sports and was looking forward to the day when all sports would come back. Darius began another chapter of his life on April 19, 2018 when he married his best friend and girlfriend of 4 yrs Tanya Collazo (now Tanya Riley) and became a step father to her 3 children. You never saw Darius without Tanya the bond they had was a loving and caring bond that could not be broke, The lord picked a rose on June 28, 2020 and gave Darius his wings.
He is proceeded in death with his mother Sandra Reed, grandmothers and grandfathers, and his Uncle Gary. Darius leaves behinds a wife (Tanya Riley) 3 step kids Desiree, Alexis, and Ejuan, 9 brothers and sisters Flora La Quita, Samuel, Gary, Kayla, Donte, Johnathan, Samantha, Samaya, and Canvas Riley, along with a host of aunts, cousins, nephew, nieces and friends that loved him dearly and will miss him greatly, With all that is in us, we love you with the love of chirst.
