“Dear Sue and all--I cannot begin to tell you how deeply saddened I am by Mary's death, especially on top of your sister passing. It all seems horribly unfair. I came to know Mary and Margaret through our RVA reunions. We never missed one! Though not at RVA at the same time--I was 7 years behind your mom and had left by the time she and Ted came back to teach--we really bonded at our reunions. She was so bright and fun--really indomitable!”
