Gary Mayeda Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary Mayeda of Riverside, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 28, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Gary's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Gary's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as his find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Mayeda and Tomi Mayeda. He is survived by: his son Matsutaro Mayeda of Riverside; and his sisters, Sue Lee of Riverside and Joann Larsen (Gary) of Long Beach.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Preston and Simons Mortuary (3358 Mission Inn Avenue, Riverside, CA 92501). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Olivewood Memorial Park (3300 Central Ave, Riverside, CA 92506).
