She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. T. W. Strieter and Martha Strieter; her husband Douglas Sorsdahl; her sons, William and Steven; her grandson Clint; and her siblings, Lucy Connor, Ethel Heldt, Edith Quevedo, Paul, James, Martin and Thomas Strieter.
She is survived by: her family, Ill, Valparaiso, Ind and Evansville; her children, Douglas Sorsdahl (Claudia), Janice Forsline (Phil), Karen Newton (Michael) and Christine Weatherwax (Rick); and her daughters-in-law, Carol Sorsdahl and Wanda Sorsdahl. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
It would honor Trudy's life to direct any memorial donations to personal causes that continue to spread the spirit of God's love, peace, compassion, and healing.
