He is survived by: his parents, Joseph Lara and Ernestina Abogado; his children, Priscella, Joseph, Mark and Nicollette; his grandchildren, Derrick, Joseph, Melody, Scarlett, Makoa, Zoe, Lulu and Myles; and his sisters, Sandra, Lisa and Trisha. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
