With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leona Joan Holcombe (Riverside, California), born in Walker, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 1, 2026 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabel Alma Pickell (Tabor) and Herbert "Herb" Pickell; her brother Eugene "Gene" Pickell; her husband William "Bill" J. Holcombe Jr.; and her children, Mary Holcombe and Steven Mark Holcombe.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Katy and Steven Michael; her children, Daren Holcombe (Danette) and Gena Ellingson (Marcus); her grandchildren, Sarah Holcombe, Megan Holcombe, Tyler Ellingson, Jessica Holcombe, Brandy Holcombe, Erica Holcombe, Hailey Ellingson, Nathan Holcombe, Katelyn Holcombe and Steven Michael Holcombe; and her great grandchild Kirsten Martling (Sarah).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Arlington Mortuary (9645 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92503). A burial will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Riverside National Cemetery (22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518).
