With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Poncernela Dynise Sanford of Riverside, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 26, 2025 at the age of 68. Though Poncernela may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Poncernela touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She is survived by: her sister Respondia "Dia" Sanford Poole of Las Vegas, Nevada; and her aunts, Annie Grace Gaines McNeal of Attapulgus, Georgia, Mary Gaines Kimbrough of Tuskegee, Alabama and Millie Fielder of Tampa, Florida. She is also survived by many cousins and dear friends.
