We announce the death of Steven Dale Simpson (Riverside, California), born in Lancaster, California, who passed away on October 29, 2026, at the age of 63. Steven will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his father Duane Simpson; and his stepfather Ed Hill. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Simpson; his children, James Simpson and Nicole Simpson; his grandchildren, Kayla, Aniah, Liam, Wyatt, Kennedy, Oliver and Hailee; his mother Betty Hill; and his sister Kathy Westhafer. He is also survived by numerous extended family members, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 7th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Arlington Mortuary (9645 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92503). A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 7th 2026 from 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM at the Riverside National Cemetery (22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518).
