With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Xavier Lydon Jr. of Riverside, California, who passed away on April 3, 2022 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret T. Lydon (McCann) and William X. Lydon of Dorchester; and his brother Judge Leo J. Lydon. He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Putnam-Lydon; his children, Mary-Elizabeth P. Lydon (Shawn Colby), William X. Lydon III (Allison), Monica M. Poulsen (Kyle), Rory L. Lydon (Maggie) and Leo F. Lydon; his grandchildren, Kaylyn, Emma, Maura, Shawn, Bridget, Hannah, Mark, Liam, Jake, Nolan, Lincoln and Dylan; his siblings, Kathleen T. O'Toole (Lawrence G.), Marie A. Gould (Randall P.), Kevin E. Lydon (Jacqueline T.), Martin L. Lydon (Karen Egan), Bernadette M. McDonough (Paul F.) and Gerard T. Lydon (Michelle O'Leary); his nieces, Kelly Dolan and Tara Ann Pixler (Putnam); and his goddaughter Paula Gould. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
