He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Hemnes-Nakata. He is survived by: his daughter Nicole Nakata (Thomas Ashcraft); his granddaughter Frances Ashcraft of Juneau, Alaska; and his brothers, Melvin, Keith Nakata of Wahiawa, Waipahu and Hawai'i.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 21333 Hawthorne Blvd, Torrance, CA 90503.
