She was predeceased by : her parents, Margaret Fortuna (Shea) and Stanley Fortuna; her husband Lewis Hancock (John); her brothers, Richard and David; her niece Lynn; and her nephew David.

She is survived by : her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Samantha; her daughter Marnie; her grandchildren, Dillon and Michaela; her great grandchild Emma; her sister Phyllis Fortuna; and her nephew Stanley (Susan).
