He is survived by: his wife Sandra Schieldge (Chassagne); his grandchildren, Celso Schieldge, Gabriela Schieldge, Jonathan Schieldge and Alex Hansen; and his siblings, James Schieldge (Jim) and Karen Musekamp (Schieldge).
