He was predeceased by: his mother Melva Irene Jones. He is survived by: his father Charles Bolvin Hillier; his wife Estelle Melody Hillier; his sons, Dennis Paul Hillier, John Daniel Hillier and Steven Lee Hillier; and his siblings, Dennis Charles Hillier, Andrea Lynn Davis and Sandy Moyer.
In accordance with Melvin's wishes, donations may be made to Valley View Christian Church at Kilaga Springs Lodge, Lincoln, CA.
