He is survived by: his former wife Jennie Dean Allen; his children, Monica Allen Messina (Tom) and Dean Allen (Samara); his grandchildren, Guinness Allen Messina, Remy Allen Messina and Mila Allen; his sister-in-law Mary Mayo; and his nieces and nephews, Lucy Busby (Ron), Fred Mayo, Jr. (Joan) and Jerry Mayo (Rowena).
