She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse (Pauline Cabrera) and Louise; and her former husband Robert Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Gary Denton; her children, Lacey Atkinson (Jeff Atkinson), Michael Thompson and Lynn Cairney (Paul Cairney); her grandchildren, Amber, Brynne, Whitney, James, Justina, Jacquelyn and Joseph; and her siblings, Tom, Rick, Randy and Patricia.

Memorial contributions may be made in Louise's memory to Samaritan's Purse.
