He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleveland Williams and Mallie Margaret Whitlow; and his brother Johnny. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Kojo, Douglas (Monica) and Angelica; his grandchildren, Cash, Braylon, Tasianna, Navy, Wesley, Kyson and Wizdom; and his sisters, Hope and Janice. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
