Cora Matney Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 29, 2025, at the age of 87, Cora Matney (Sacramento, California) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Cora's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Cora has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Albers and Grace Albers; her husband Jack Matney; and her daughter Kari. She is survived by: her sons, Mark and Bret Matney. She is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the East Lawn East Sacramento.
