He is survived by: his siblings, Lannie, Roderick, Sheila and Rossalind; his father Ross Hayes; his children, Genesis Hayes, Bethany Byrd and Destinee Hayes-Bejide; and his grandchildren, Josiah Hayes-Garcia, Jaron Reed, Miyanni Byrd, Jonovan Byrd, Gia Hayes, Onyx Hayes-Bejide and Olanee HayesBejide.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, February 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St Paul Church of Sacramento (3996 14th Ave, Sacramento, CA 95820).
