She was predeceased by: her brother Kevin Eugene King; and her grandmothers, Lattice Ola Ramsey and Gladis Owens. She is survived by: her husband Adam Lee Gilbert, Sr.; her children, Marina, Hassanah and Adam, Jr. (AJ); her mother Darlene Bean; her sisters, Laurene Clark and Latisha King; her father Stanley Ramsey, Sr.; her siblings, Florence Block and Stanley Ramsey, Jr.; and her mother-in-law Vernice Hodges (Cookie). She is also survived by aunts and uncles; several nieces and nephews whom she adored; dear cousins young and old; a precious goddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the First United Methodist Church (2100 J St, Sacramento, CA 95816). A reception will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
