He was predeceased by: his parents, John Goitia and Mary Reyes Goitia; and his brother Lawrence Goitia. He is survived by: the mother of his children Ruby Martinez; and his children, Jesse Goitia, Joseph Goitia, Linda Goitia and Lisa Magdaleno.

Viewing will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the All Hallows Catholic Church (5501 14th Ave, Sacramento, CA 95820). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery (6509 Fruitridge Rd, Sacramento, CA 95820). A reception will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the All Hallows Catholic Church (5501 14th Ave, Sacramento, CA 95820).
