He was predeceased by: his wife Ngoc Chu; his children, Quang Young, Sang Dieng, Cahn Dieng, Camille Hang, Jenny Huitrado and Mui Dieng; and his niece Evfa Quach.
He is survived by: his niece Kong. He is also survived by his sons-in-law and daughters-in-law, 15 grandchildren, and two beloved great-grandchildren.
