She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Choichi Okino; her parents, Yoichi Oku and Toshi Oku; and her sisters, Jean Fukumoto and Dorothy Yamamoto.

She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Wong (Dennis), Kevin Okino (Tencie) and Denise Etherington (David). She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
