She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Clete; her siblings, Mildred and Harry; her children, Bill Oster (Cindy), Susanne Christenson (Dave) and Pete Oster; her grandchildren, Julie Philips (Graham), John Oster (Rebecca), Mark Oster (Heather), Sarah Brubaker (Chad), Katie Belsky (Gabe), Ryan King (Bree), Katie Rumford (Peter), Mike Oster (Kelly) and Jeff Oster (Katie); and her parents, Elizabeth Zell and Harry Zell. She was also cherished by 19 great-grandchildren.

Through the pandemic, she played over 1, 000 games of Canasta with her daughter and son-in-law, Dave "Sharky.".
