Peggy VanDyke Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy VanDyke of Sacramento, California, born in Pasco, Washington, who passed away on August 18, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Herman Mewes and Joeleen Blankenship Mewes; her stepfather Paul Swain; and her cousins, Roger Bergin, Jennifer Anderson and Joel Anderson.

She is survived by: her son Erik (Allison Vandenberg); her husband David Alan Van Dyke; her brothers, Jeff (Penny) and Bradley Mewes (Pam); her aunt Judy Cogswell (Warren); and her cousins, Alan Bergin, Carol Bergin, Nick August, Joanne Halvorson and Jannelle Griffith (David). She is also survived by her family and friends.

The family asks memorials to be given to Sunnyside Christian School or Chaplaincy Hospice Kennewick in lieu of flowers.
