Though Racine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Racine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her husband Clinton Johnson; her son Rodney Clinton Johnson; her parents, Ophelia Gilbert and Frank Dowell; her aunt Odessa Gilbert; her grandfather George Gilbert; and her adoptive parents, Talilcious Hunter and Jesse Hunter.

She is survived by: her children, Darlean, Albert and Ophelia.
