He was predeceased by: his mother Velda Smith; his sister DeeAnn Smith; his father Roy Dean Smith; and his uncles, John Smith and Norman Largent.
He is survived by: his wife Leetha; his children, Sherri Beaudoin (Scott), Pamela Youmans (Chuck), Catherine Moore (Justin), Carolyn Javier (John), Cynthia Geddes (Jeffrey), Thomas Smith (Kristen) and Avelino Olea Jr. (Eleanor); his sisters, Jere Broadhead (Jeff), Karen Martinez, Kimber Sanchez and Linell Wood (Greg); his aunts, Cheryl Brazell (Richard) and Clara Marie Largent; and his uncle Gene Largent (Cheryl). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and life-long friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
