We are sad to announce that, on October 28, 2025, at the age of 79, Richard La Borde (Sacramento, California), born in San Francisco, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emile LaBorde and Christal LaBorde. He is survived by: his partner Jackie Chan; his daughter Lisa LaBorde; his grandson Vincent Eguire; his sisters, Delores Firth and Dorothy Heibel; and his niece Elizabeth Mesa.
