He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Larry and Sandra Clawson Johnston; and his brothers, Michael (Betty Jean) and Robert. He is survived by: his wife Susan Hilton; his children, Benjamin, Rebecca (Cameron), Steven (Rebecca), Daniel and Timothy; his grandchildren, Samuel, Katie, Truman, Aubrey, Margaret and Meredith; and his siblings, Sheri Anderson (Michael), Heidi Waldrop (Gary), John (Kris), Rodney (Teresa), Paul (Connie), Wendi Prentice (David), Kelli Chavez (Franklin), Jenni Shelton (Kent), Charles (Heather), Merri Rygg (Ellis) and Mark Blaisdell (Becky).
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Kaysville 13th Ward (875 E 200 N, Kaysville, UT 84037).
