He was predeceased by: his parents, Aurelio Lucero and Mercedes Lucero of Durango, Mexico.; his wife Natalie; and his siblings, Al, Pete, Rudy, Angie and Josie.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Lucero Jr. (Jamie) and Aurelia Lofton (Michael); his stepchildren, Danny Mendoza (Barbara), Sandra Shurtz (Greg) and Herbert Mendoza, Jr.; his grandchildren, James, Joshua, Michael, Avalyn, Jamese, Bree Ann, Berlyn and Matthew; and his siblings, Gloria Fernandez, Luis Lucero and Ernie Lucero. He is also survived by his loving family and many friends.
