It is with profound sadness that the family of Roy L. Sanders announces his unexpected passing on January 02, 2019 at the age of 59 years young. Roy Sanders affectionately known as "Coach Roy" was born September 15, 1959. He spent 4 years in the United States Air Force. Roy worked for Aerojet (Rocketdyne) for 31 years. Coach Roy enjoyed coaching Little league baseball, Pop warner Football, and umpiring.

He is greatly missed. He is survived by his wife Fatema; their 5 sons, Akeem, Aaron, Roy Jr, Isaac and Isaiah; 2 brothers, Anthony (Jackie), and Alton; Sister, Sherri (Elijah) and a host of extended family and friends. Viewing will be held from 4pm-7pm on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Morgan Jones Funeral Home 4200 Broadway, Sacramento, CA 95817.

The Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church 3601 12th Ave Sacramento, CA 95817.
