She was predeceased by: her father John Taylor; her husband Dr. Howard L. Harris; her daughter Linda Holloway (Dewayne Holloway); and her siblings, Eveylyn Moore and Auburn Taylor.
She is survived by: her parent Fakie Taylor; her sons, Dee Ireland Lewis, William Harris (Cammie Harris) and Kevin Harris; and her granddaughters, Carousel Gore, Tiffany Jones, Jocelynn Jones and Maya Harris. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandsons, and countless chosen family who called her "Mom" or "Gram".
