He was predeceased by: his parents, Chavelo Abina and Armeda Abina; and his wife Gloria Jean Abina. He is survived by: his children, Jesse Abina Sr., Steven Abina Sr., Rocky Abina Sr., Robert Abina Jr. and Roberta Abina. He is also survived by his children, 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
