With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arron Marchel Yaras (Salinas, California), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on August 9, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Yaras and Gertrude [Jacobs] Yaras; his wife Catherine Ann Rice; his daughters, Michelle Yaras and Catherine Gaston; his son-in-law Douglas Gaston; his granddaughters, Katharina and Kassandra Gaston; his siblings, Linda Epstein (Allen) and Robin Mandelbaum (Joe); his mother-in-law Margaret Rice; and his brother Sanford Yaras (Judy).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests considering a donation to the Salinas chapter of Mended Hearts.
