We are sad to announce that on September 6, 2023, at the age of 93, Ben Miyaoka of Salinas, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kuichi Miyaoka and Miyako Miyaoka; and his siblings, Tommy Miyaoka and Helen Yoneyama. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Miyaoka; his children, Ronny Miyaoka of Anchorage, Alaska, Patricia Miyaoka of Santa Rosa, California, Sherrill Miyaoka Filice (Mike) of Salinas, California and Vickie Miyaoka (Ed) of San Jose, California.; his grandchildren, Dustin Filice (Stacy) of Belmont, California, Jason Tonks of San Diego, California, Brian Filice (Shannon), Darren Tonks of San Diego, California, Jessica Miyaoka (John) of Anchorage, Alaska, Ben Miyaoka Filice (Yocelyne) of Hayward, California, Neil Miyaoka of Anchorage, Alaska and Carter Miyaoka Gasiorowski of San Jose, California.; and his great grandchildren, Micah Miyaoka of Anchorage, Alaska, Alana, Anthony, Austin, Allie Filice of Belmont, California, Chloe and Nolan Filice.
