As we bid Carmen farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Carmen is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parent Amparo; her stepfather Louis Venuti; her siblings, Fabio, Hope and Rosie; and her stepbrothers, Louis and Joe.
She is survived by: her children, Craig (Jaryl), Jeffery and Linda Fields (Donald); her grandchildren, Bretton Fields and Lauren Fields; and her sister Gloria Lopez. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Struve and Laporte Chapel (41 W San Luis St, Salinas, CA 93901).
