It is with sadness that the passing of David Hiroyuki Yonemitsu (Salinas, California) is shared. David, born on January 15, 1962, passed away on July 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
David will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hajime Yonemitsu and Ikue Yonemitsu. He is survived by: his children, Keiha (Amanda), Jay (Bridgett) and Kyle; his granddaughter Olivia Mae; and his siblings, Shun (Debbie), Toshiye (Steve) and Mutsuko (Mel). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
He was also a dedicated volunteer, generously donating his time and talents to countless fundraising events by grilling tri-tip and chicken for community organizations.
