He was predeceased by : his parents, Estelita Bucol and Marciano Uy; his brother Fernando Uy; and his former life partner Rosalin Waren. He is survived by : his daughters, Wella Potter of Goodyear, Dhona Uy of Bend and Casey Bruno (Peter) of San Francisco; his grandchildren, Patrick Bruno, Kylie Potter, Kellan Potter, Ranson Uy, Dahren Uy and Brandon Uy; and his sister Vilma Uy of Salinas. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
