With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald L. Gardiner (Salinas, California), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 25, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Gardiner and Marie Gardiner; his significant other Joanie; and his great grandchildren, Abigail and Emily Davi.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven (Liane) and Kenny Gardiner (Kelly); his grandchildren, Leslie Gardiner (Adam), Stephanie Davi (Vincent), Jeremy Oliver, Amanda Oliver and Brandy Castillo (David); his great grandchildren, Baelin, Ian, Samantha Davi and Alexander Mallari; and his caregiver Cathy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Struve and Laporte Funeral Chapel (41 W San Luis St, Salinas, CA 93901). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
