He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Amos Poole Sr. and Ellen Stuart Poole; his wife Carol; his brother Stuart Shumway Poole; and his children, George Amos Poole V, Ellen Lilian Rankin, Cynthia Poole Gallivan, Bridget Belden and Shannon Lueken. He was also cherished by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
