It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gil L. Cruz of Salinas, California, who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eutiquio Fernando (Cruz) and Anselma Masa Lomboya. He is survived by: his children, Gemma, Jason (Venus) and Marvin Gil (Tracey); and his brothers, Rodolfo and Felicisimo. He is also survived by six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Struve and Laporte Funeral Chapel (41 W San Luis St, Salinas, CA 93901). A rosary will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Madonna Del Sasso Catholic Church (320 E Laurel Dr, Salinas, CA 93906). A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Memories Cemetery (850 Abbott St, Salinas, CA 93901).
