He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ruben Torres and Maria Del Carmen Escobedo; his son Reuben Torres; his adoptive daughter Sylvia Cervates; his stepchildren, Martha Imperial, Rosalina Reyes, Fidel Imperial and Ricardo Imperial; his siblings, Elitania Torres, Bertha Torres Franco, Isabel Torres, Carmen Torres, Maria Torres Diaz, Martha Torres Ibarra, Salvador Torres and J. Guadalupe Torres; his wife Esther Armida Torres; and his stepdaughter Clara Agama. He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
