It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Rivera Valverde (Salinas, California), who passed away on August 12, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her brother Arthur; her parents, Arthur and Evelyn; and her sister Katie (Korea).

As a result of caregiving for her mother in law with Alzheimer's she became an expert on the disease which subsequently led her to become the executive director of the Salinas Alzheimer's office.
