He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Hernandez and Antolina Hernandez; and his siblings, Luis and Dominga. He is survived by: his wife Tammy; his children, Miguel, Irma (Ozzy) and Stephanie (Ed); his grandchildren, Ashleigh, Miguel, Arturo, Brooke, Brianna, Brandi, Bella, Benjamin, Eli and Leo; his great grandchild Ameryse Thatcher; his siblings, Paul (Nellie), Ralph (Joetta), Connie, Mary (Tony), Theresa (Dave), Emily (Shahram) and Monica; and his caregiver Betty.
A rosary was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Madonna Del Sasso Catholic Church (320 E Laurel Dr, Salinas, CA 93906). A Mass was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery (18200 Damian Way, Prunedale, CA 93907).
