He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Carl; his father Days; his wife Brenda Joyce Walker of Chualar; his daughters, Evette Kirby (Jim) and Lori McNiel (Jeff Franks); his grandchildren, Evan and Gianna McNiel; and his siblings, Norman (Carol) and Shirley Pardini (Glen Bomar). He was also cherished by several nieces and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Leon's name to the Swiss Rifle Club, P.O. Box 275, Gonzales, 93926, Lewy Body Dementia Association 912 Killian Hill Road, S.W., Lilburn, GA 30047, Hospice of the Central Coast or St. Theodore's Catholic Church, Gonzales.
