She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Mates Sr.; and her son Frank Mates Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Leonard; and her grandchildren, Patricia Benson, Rick Brazil Jr. and Frankie Mates III. She is also survived by her 5 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great- grandchildren; along with extended family and many dear friends.
